What is PhotoCraft?
PhotoCraft is the ArtCraft team’s image-editing application within the Crafting Apps family. The official directory labels it early alpha. It is separate from AI Studio and from unrelated products with a similar name.

PhotoCraft features: what is documented?
The official product page and repository describe an image editor with layers, masks, text, adjustments and filters. The table separates those descriptions from our own verification status.

A feature listing does not establish behavior for your file. Try a copy, inspect the output and reopen saved work before moving an important project.
PhotoCraft platforms and releases
The official page links macOS, Windows, Linux and web options. At the time of checking, it displayed PhotoCraft 0.7.0 and Launcher 0.2.1. These are page observations, not versions we installed.
Launcher or standalone app?
The launcher provides an entry to the app collection and updates. The PhotoCraft page also lists individual packages. Use the current official options for your platform.
ArtCraft download guidePhotoCraft GitHub: official code and releases
The official PhotoCraft product page links to the storytold/photocraft repository. Its README lists MIT or Apache 2.0 licensing. Review the repository’s actual license files for the applicable terms.
Use the releases section for packaged builds where available. Downloading the repository’s source archive is a different action from installing the editor.

People searching for “ArtCraft Photoshop” or ArtCraft photo editing usually need to identify the image editor first. PhotoCraft is that product path. Its positioning and format claims do not prove that it can replace your Photoshop workflow.
Check the task before switching
For an existing layered document, test text, masks, effects and exported output with a copy of the same file. Our comparison and beginner tutorial are still evidence plans, with no feature-parity verdict.
